Grit & Growth at the World Team Trials

Three Wolfpack RTC athletes—Ed Scott (74 kg), Jackson Arrington (70 kg), and Christian Knop (97 kg)—competed at the 2025 Senior World Team Trials Challenge in Louisville, KY. Scott reached the consolation semifinals with two strong wins. Arrington battled through a tough 70 kg bracket, narrowly dropping his consolation match. Knop faced two gritty bouts at 97 kg but came up short. While none advanced to Final X, all three gained valuable experience against top-tier competition.

🏆 Trent Hidlay Captures Gold at 2025 Pan Am Championships

Trent Hidlay captured the 92kg freestyle gold medal at the 2025 Pan American Championships in Monterrey, Mexico, dominating the field with powerful offense and relentless pressure. Hidlay’s performance continues to prove he's one of the top contenders on the international stage.

This victory is a testament not only to Trent’s hard work but also to the leadership of Coach Jamill Kelly, whose Olympic-level experience and technical mentorship have been instrumental in Hidlay’s development.

In addition to Hidlay’s gold, Christian Knop battled to a strong 4th-place finish at 97kg, Jackson Arrington and Ed Scott both secured 7th-place honors, and Tyrie Houghton placed 8th in a deep heavyweight field. In U20 action, Gavin Linsman and Latrell Schafer each picked up multiple dominant wins, showing the depth of young talent rising through the program.
